The ‘trendy’ fashion brand opens its first Scottish store in central Glasgow

The opening of the Braehead Center store, on the outskirts of Glasgow, has led to the creation of ten jobs.

The brand has two fashion ranges. Blue Vanilla is aimed at all women offering “constantly updated styles and trendy clothes”, while Pink Vanilla is aimed at teenage girls and young women between 14 and 24 years old, promising them “bold fashion, fun and avant-garde inspired by street style and pop culture”.

The new store spans some 2,350 square feet and is located in the mall’s lower mall.

Michelle Burns, Head of Retail Stores at Vanilla, said: “We were very selective when looking for the ideal location to launch our first Scottish standalone store and Braehead ticked all the boxes for us.

“The center attracts huge footfall with its already impressive reputation for having a wide variety of shops, restaurants and cafes, giving it a strong appeal to women and girls of all ages.

“With the opening of our new store in Braehead, we will be providing women and girls with a trendy and affordable option when it comes to their fashion choices.”

Braehead Center Manager Peter Beagley added: “I’m confident vanilla will be everyone’s favorite fashion flavor, bringing the latest on-trend styles to Braehead shoppers.
