Luxury boutique brand completes Rome resort

The Pavilions Hotel & Resorts has completed The First Roma resort in the Italian capital with the opening of a third site.
The lifestyle hotel The Pavilions Rome, The First Musica opened on July 1, 2022.
Housed in a mid-century building originally designed by architect Mario Docci, and now elegantly refurbished by Studio Marincola, the new five-star boutique joins partner hotels The First Arte and First Dolce to complete an experience of unique tripartite urban resort in the Eternal City. . Collectively dubbed The First Roma, the three hotels combine la dolce vita with contemporary Roman culture, awakening the senses through art, gastronomy and well-being.
Framed by oversized windows, the strikingly modern mesh and concrete facade in natural brass tones pays homage to Richard Meier’s iconic Museo dell’Ara Pacis, located on the opposite bank of the Tiber; inside, exceptional materials such as Loro Piana fabrics and rare Calacatta marble evoke a calm and warmly luxurious ambience. Each of the 24 rooms and suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows, dark wood paneling on the walls, chic brass accents — from bathroom fixtures to Bang & Olufsen Beosound Balance wireless speakers — and large modern artwork. format.
Dine in style
Serving selected cocktails, fine wines and Italian and international cuisine, accompanied by special events of live music and DJ sets, the lively Alto rooftop bar on the six and seventh floors offers breathtaking views of the historic cityscape from Rome. From a fifth-floor vantage point, sophisticated Italian restaurant Oliva serves a menu of reinterpreted Roman and regional classics in its indoor and outdoor dining spaces.
Below street level, an underground spa is set to open in September, with an indoor pool and wellness area offering two treatment rooms for massages and beauty treatments exclusively for First Roma guests.
