Havas chooses Peters as e-commerce director

Havas Media Group has appointed Brendon Peters as e-Commerce Director of Havas Market, the Group’s new full-service e-commerce offering.

“The appointment of Brendon Peters is a game-changer for Havas Media. He deeply understands the challenges of marketers and is one of Australia’s top e-commerce professionals. Brendon has a wealth of experience, both client and agency side, and a credible and unique perspective on how we can design and deliver a meaningful impact on a business as a proven partner,” said Virginia Hyland, CEO of Havas Media Group.

“The last 12 months have seen us grow and transform some of Australia’s most loved brands in e-commerce. With Brendon joining the team, our clients will immediately reap the benefits of his proven experience while continuing their e-commerce journey.

“He will work closely with clients to collaboratively solve complex business challenges and transform their e-commerce strategies to achieve tangible results, including generating incremental revenue. Another key part of Brendon’s role will be to provide end-to-end strategic recommendations across the entire e-commerce ecosystem.”

Peters joined Havas from Pattern International, where he was a senior consultant.

He was previously e-commerce manager at House of Quirky, e-commerce manager at Noni B and digital marketing coordinator at Specialty Fashion Group (the former owner of Katies, Millers, Rivers and Autograph) and Australian NaturalCare.

“I am beyond excited to join Havas to elevate the e-commerce capability of Havas Media. We have been able to draw on my experience working internally for brands, and more recently as an e-commerce consultant, to meet the unique challenges that our customers face,” said Peters.

“By putting the customer first, we create superior customer experiences across all channels for our customers – helping them achieve their goals, but also helping them understand their business needs at scale.”
