Lincoln Navigator 2021

Lincoln’s New Navigator is just about the best way to spend your money in the luxury full-size SUV space. Its main competitor, the Escalade, which also has a third-row seat, is almost the same price and looks like it’s 10 years old. The choice among large SUVs is obvious.

The Navigator drives like a dream and its interior is one of Lincoln’s best jobs since … maybe forever. The world needs more blue interiors.

2021 Bentley Bentayga

Let’s see … a 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine producing 600 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. Why wouldn’t this be my pick of my favorite luxury SUVs?

Sure, it costs over $ 200,000, but I can’t help but think how fun it would be to slam some aggressive tires on the Bentayga and hit the dunes.

In addition to its super luxurious interior, the Bentayga has eight drive modes, including those for snow, sand, grass and trails. And if the W12 is too much for you, there’s also V8 and hybrid models.

Porsche Cayenne 2021

From a twin-turbo 335 hp V6 to the 670 hp Turbo S E-hybrid, the Cayenne covers a wide range of performance potential.

It’s a big SUV, but it still behaves like a real Porsche. In addition, the new PCM infotainment system, also present on the Panamera models, is a step ahead of the old system with increased functionality and ease of use.

2021 Mazda CX-9

You might not think of Mazda as a luxury brand, but I promise you, in its top trim levels, the 2021-mazda-cx-9 is as nice as most of the other SUVs on this list.

A 2.5-liter turbocharged engine is mated to a smooth-shifting six-speed automatic. It’s like the proverbial butter behind the wheel. But you don’t even have to drive that midsize SUV to appreciate how much the CX-9 exceeds its weight. Look at the. It is breathtaking.

Audi Q7 2021

The three-row Q7 almost everything. It behaves like an Audi should, it looks great, packs a lot of passengers and it has all the latest technology. The bonus: it starts with a base price of less than $ 55,000.

Two choices of engines are offered. The small 2.0-liter turbo with 252 horsepower is enough to motivate the Q7 around town, or you can go one step further and get a twin-turbo 335 horsepower V6.

The Q7 has great technology, from active safety to the intuitive MMI infotainment system, and now comes with a standard virtual cockpit.

Mercedes-AMG G63 2021

Yes, that’s a ridiculous anachronism, but nothing drives or looks like a Gelandewagen. It’s uniquely adorable and memorable, a true living legend that oozes both luxury and off-road capability.

The G550 with V8 engine offers plenty of performance, but why not go with it the 577 horsepower G63? Sure, it starts at $ 147,500, but aren’t you worth it?

2021 GMC Yukon Denali

The big boy from GMC Yukon Denali comes standard with a 6.2-liter V8 developing 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, which is mated to an excellent 10-speed automatic transmission. It delivers a really smooth and quiet ride for such a large body-on-chassis sport utility vehicle.

Denali-specific exterior touches add a bit more flair and look better than the overly flashy Cadillac Escalade.

2021 Land Rover Range Rover Velar

The Velar
can start at under $ 60,000, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a block with British luxury.

This car features advanced driver assistance systems including autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and lane keeping assist. You can also get cool automotive tech like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, traffic sign recognition, and a sleepy driver monitor.

The interior is a minimalist’s delight, flooded with light from an available panoramic sunroof. The comfortable front seats are heated and cooled and have a massage function. And the cargo capacity is impressive.

Jaguar I-Pace 2021

Luxury is increasingly about stress reduction, and flying quietly down the road in an electric SUV that is virtually maintenance-free and has full safety features would certainly make it easy to relax.

Not that an owner is likely to go there, but the all-wheel drive I-Pace is a legitimately good off-road driving vehicle. I tackled incredibly steep terrain on low profile, road-facing tires, determining that the I-Pace is the best all-terrain electric vehicle on the market rivaling any Tesla model.

The I-Pace is legitimately fast, with 394 horsepower and a 0-60 time in just 4.5 seconds. Despite that and the all-wheel drive, this car will do 240 miles on one charge. It starts at just under $ 70,000.
